On November 7, 2024, the Environmental Protection Network (EPN) provided comments on EPA’s proposed Partial Settlement Agreement and Consent Decree for implementation of the Endocrine Disruptor Screening Program (EDSP) under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. EPN sees the Partial Settlement Agreement as a step forward, but recommends clarifying certain terms, improving notification frequency and content, and addressing the complexities of thyroid screening with input from a scientific advisory panel.
