On Thursday, October 20, 2022, the White House Council on Environmental Quality hosted the “Justice40 and Technical Assistance Providers” webinar as part of the Justice40-In-Action: Advancing Environmental, Economic, and Health Justice webinar series. Over 400 attendees heard from EPN, Anthropocene Alliance, Justice40 Accelerator, and Thriving Earth Exchange. Our organizations shared information about some of the capacity-building pro bono resources we offer to communities with environmental justice concerns, including assistance identifying and applying for government funding and technical, scientific, and legal aid. In addition, we were joined by community leaders from Northeast Ohio Black Health Coalition, The FreshWater Accountability Project, Green Door Initiative, and Little Growers Inc. who shared their stories about the environmental challenges their communities are experiencing, the community projects they are undertaking to address these challenges, and how they are utilizing pro bono technical assistance to strengthen their efforts.
