The River Network has launched a Clean Water Act Self-Paced Training Series based on their Clean Water Act Owner’s Manual. This 9-part training series is an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the Clean Water Act, understand each of the Act’s programs, and discover ways you can use the tools of the Act–and your local knowledge–to advocate for your streams and rivers. Each module provides concrete ways to use the tools of the Clean Water Act and your voice to influence decision making and take action for the health of your waterways.
The series includes virtual presentations, reading materials, action planning exercises, discussions, and more to provide a greater understanding of the Clean Water Act program areas, how your state or Tribe can implement and enforce the Act, and specific actions you can take to better protect your local waterways.
