Environmental Protection Network Anticipates More Deception in Trump’s Address to Congress
Tonight, President Trump will deliver his Joint Address to Congress. The address comes one week after President Trump said he wants to cut EPA by 65% in a cabinet meeting, which goes against what the majority of voters want according to a post-election poll commissioned by the Environmental Protection Network.
“The state of Trump’s EPA is chaos and confusion, which is bad news for anyone who cares about toxic pollution in the air we breathe and the water we drink,” said Environmental Protection Network Executive Director Michelle Roos. “During the elections, Trump didn’t level with voters about his plans to gut the Environmental Protection Agency because he knows that voters want clean air and clean water. We expect more deception tonight. The public can get the truth at EPAFacts.org.”
