On November 20, 2017, the Senate’s Appropriations Committee released its FY2018 EPA funding bill. It now goes to the full Senate for a vote. It differs from the House bill’s 8% budget cut by proposing a 1.86%, or $149.5 million cut, which is an improvement over HR 3354, but still makes for the lowest Senate proposal since 1986.
