We would love to have you volunteer in our network as often or as infrequently as you would like. Please contact us to learn more.
We often need experts in a variety of areas to provide commentary, analysis and/or advice to press, NGOs, and/or Congress. We also need volunteers to help put this information into fact sheets, reports and on social media.
As background, EPN started when a group of mostly EPA alum, largely longstanding career staff but also a few confirmation level appointments from both Republican and Democratic Administrations, gathered to see what they might do to defend and protect the basic institutions of environmental protection in view of growing threats from the Trump Administration.
Now branded as the Environmental Protection Network, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EPN works in a variety of ways, including:
- providing objective and/or scientific analysis of the Trump Administration’s budgets, former Administrator Scott Pruitt’s and Acting Administrator Andrew Wheeler’s proposed regulatory rollbacks, other attacks on EPA’s programs; and
- fielding numerous inquiries from the press, congressional staff and NGOs; and connecting them with our knowledgeable alumni network to provide objective background information and ground-truth investigative reports.
All in all, EPN is helping to answer the call for objective analysis, scientific rigor, and facts about public health, the environment and the EPA when all of these are under siege. Please contact us to learn more.
