On March 31, 2020, under the cover of coronavirus, the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration threatened public health by taking a short-sighted action to officially roll back clean car regulations that have reduced greenhouse gas emissions, improved air quality and increased fuel economy. EPN members who worked for years on improving fuel economy to protect both people’s health and the environment were outraged by this rollback; they share their thoughts in this press release.
