Caelie Fish is a Community Outreach Associate with our pro bono capacity-building technical assistance program. Caelie concentrates on creating new and deeper connections between communities of color and low-income communities in EPA Region 9, EPA alumni with decades of expertise, and other allies to provide assistance to community identified projects.
Caelie received her BA in International Security and Conflict Resolution from San Diego State University and completed her MA in Social Innovation at the Kroc School of Peace Studies at the University of San Diego. She is an advocate for social and environmental justice and is focused on helping communities find peaceful solutions to their challenges. She believes that dialogue and mutual understanding are key to resolving conflicts, and she works to promote these values in all of her work. Her professional interests are in sustainable cities, urban greening, biomimicry, coastal and marine conservation, and transboundary biodiversity conservation.
When not working, she loves being in nature, open water swimming, underwater photography, traveling, and Latin dancing.
