Mollie Michel serves as Deputy Director of EPN. She has more than 20 years of experience in fundraising and communications. Throughout her career, Mollie has worked on issues such as bringing arts and cultural programs to underserved communities in New York City, fighting for equity in public education funding in Philadelphia, and strong environmental protections at every level of government. Prior to joining EPN, she worked for Moms Clean Air Force, an affiliate of the Environmental Defense Fund, where she handled communications and strategic partnerships, with a particular focus on strengthening safeguards from oil and gas methane pollution at the state and federal level. Mollie also serves on the Environmental Advisory Council for the School District of Philadelphia.
She lives in South Philly with her husband and two daughters, who attend their neighborhood public school.
