On July 26, 2023, EPN, in partnership with the EPA Alumni Association, participated in a virtual roundtable discussion and Q&A session with potential EPA job applicants from Region 6. Beth Craig, EPN volunteer and former Director of Climate Protection Partnerships Division, Office of Atmospheric Programs, Office of Air and Radiation, moderated the panel, which included John Armstead, EPN volunteer and former Director of Land, Chemicals and Redevelopment Division, Region 3, along with another EPA alumni and a current EPA employee. The panelists spoke about their achievements and challenges while working at the agency. Special thanks to Jay Bassett, Claudia Fenerol Busch, Bob Cantilli, Brendan Doyle, Chuck Elkins, Richard Emory, Karen Flournoy, Mark Hague, Michael Haire, Dan Heister, Tim Jones, Tina Levine, Robert Morcock, Bill Muno, Dorothy Patton, Carl Reeverts, Susan Shinkman, Tom Sinks, Dave Ullrich, and Amy Zimpfer for volunteering to provide 20- to 30-minute one-on-one mentoring sessions with the interested applicants.
