The Environmental Protection Network (EPN) has significant concerns with Bayer CropScience LP, BASF and Syngenta’s new pesticide registration applications that would allow “over-the-top” use of dicamba on dicamba-resistant soybeans and cotton. On Tuesday, EPN commented on Syngenta’s application following our comments on Bayer and BASF’s applications on June 3, 2024 and July 2, 2024, respectively.
In lieu of Syngenta’s application, we reinforce our call for EPA to either reject the applications or make the organizations pay for a program that fully compensates anyone harmed by dicamba drifting onto other areas.
