The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was established to take action on climate change, lower costs for all Americans, create good-paying union jobs for workers, address the cumulative impacts of pollution on disadvantaged communities, and ensure America leads the global clean energy economy.
On December 15, 2022, the White House released Building a Clean Energy Economy: A Guidebook to the Inflation Reduction Act’s Investments in Clean Energy and Climate Action to provide a program-by-program overview of the IRA, including who is eligible to apply for funding and for what purposes. You can also find the most recent information on the IRA at CleanEnergy.gov, which will be updated as new funding announcements and program details become available.
In addition, Clean Energy for All provides information on how families can save on utility bills, get support to purchase electric vehicles and energy-saving appliances, and access economic opportunities.
